Hey!
I've got my windscreen out where I've had welding done for the scuttle panel and some rust on the roof, nearly time to put it all back together!
There's conflicting information between what's online/in the service manual and what other owners and myself have for the clips holding the upper trim on.
Does anyone have any pictures or experience fitting these and can weigh in?
I've bought the black pincer clips, the white more spikey clips and the stick on clip retainers - all of which seem to be the parts needed. Yet I've not talked to anyone who actually knows what the white clips and the retainers are actually for? Looking at my trim that came off the car - it doesn't look like they're even used?
It also seems like you only need 3 of the black clips according to the kits you can buy on battlegarage etc, yet my one has 4 of them currently fitted.
If it makes any difference, it's a Japanese import trueno hatchback.
I'm sure the windscreen fitter will have it sorted in some way, I know many other owners I've talked to have just said it's bonded down with tigerseal as they can fly off when driving - but it's more that I'm really curious how these are supposed to sit from factory and would like to use all the oem parts if I can.
Thanks!
