Looking into getting a T50 JDM transmission from a right hand drive Corolla but I'm concerned that it won't fit my USDM AE86? I searched a little here and there but could not find a definite answer? Straight remove and replace? Are they the same mechanical wise? Different gear ratio? Is bolt pattern the same? Also is shifter different in position of 1-5 gears? Is bell housing and clutch fork different? Thanks for your valuable time and responses.

All T50 gear ratios are the same. The speedo drive and bell housing could be different. [Several different models used the T50 trans} If the trans is known to be from an AE86, then you are golden.
