ive seen a few different gearsets for the T50 offered by some companies, but some of them are hard to get information on, don't plan on rebuilding my T50 anytime soon, but id like to find out more information.

Greenline Motorsports sells multiple gearsets made by Revolver, but dont give any information on the different specifications. could anyone help find more info on this? or is this some information thats lost to time.

other options ive already got are Cusco's Type D gearset or one of Lampola Gearboxes Dog gearset.

id love to hear what anyone has to say

If your plan is to mount this behind your stroker, I'd recommend looking into either a W58 upgrade using Niteparts bell housing, or a J160 upgrade using an SQ bell adapter. T50 just isn't strong enough, and it is more than just the gear sets that is suspect.

i had planned on going with lampolas aluminum gearbox housing, assuming I rebuilt my T50, but ill look into a J160 or an Aisin AZ6 conversion. Could you give me a little bit more information on the T50s shortcomings?

Simple really the T50 began life as a T40 running behind 70-105hp("T" engine series). It later got the 5th gear, but the internals strength remained. Just as an example, the 18RG(140hp/130foot/pounds) ended up using the W series transmissions, where you'll be running even more power then that.

I have a T50 with a TRD gearset. Individual gears are still available in Japan, 3rd gear broke on mine and l replaced it. The gearset had been used before l bought it. My engine is around 160hp but has typical 4age torque.
Don't overlook the T50's ability to cope with increased revs especially if you need close ratio gears.
Personally l can't see past a Lampola dog gearbox but mine is a dedicated competition car.
Two relevant points if you consider the dog 'box, find out the ratios and make they work with your wheel size and expect to change your final drive to suit. Anything lower than 4.778 is going to be very expensive and will likely need to be 'lifed'
Find out also the life of the dog rings and how much they cost to replace.
