whats your timing set at with the TE1 & E1 diagnostic terminals jumped?

look for a MAP & IAT sensor, it was probably converted to BT ecu, look at the ecu for a p/n to find out also.

do you have and CEL's popping up? you should look into testing your TPS, MAP/IAT(if you have them), and water temp sensor for the ecu if the above are good.

I was having the EXACT same issues. Couldn't rev past 4k w/o hesistating/misfiring while apply approx 3/4 throttle. When I did go WOT it pulled hard but ran filthy rich. Took it to Deeps Garage. They said I've got dome vaccum leaks & wiring issues. In less than an hour they had it all patched up & running smooth. The car hauls ass now & will destroyed my buddies 16v Hi Comp w/ mods.

Where were the vacuum leaks? I'm having a hell of a time trying to track down my very intermittent hesitation problem too that happens in the same manner as yours but only very occasionally does it happen.

They were some of the hoses in the back of the engine. There were 2 or 3 hoses I believe.
