Like ebay budget? Ebay products kind of scare me...Is it okay to use these?
Im on cut espelir springs right now and the ride is really bouncy. Should I just stuck with the espelirs or would it be worth it to get the cheap sleeves?

I saw some one from the old forum use the cheap ebay springs and pearches. they seamed to work the only difference is the quality of the spring. they are probably a poor rate and are over all a cheap spring. you can use the ebay stuff then save up for some swift, trd or eibach springs later

i think it's the top hat pieces on the "ebay" coils that are the problem.
but if you have some espelir's, i'd stick with those and piece together some coils on the side if you're working with a budget. similar to a T3 style coilover.
what shocks are you on? ride shouldn't be too bouncy if you proper shocks..

Im on tokico blues and espelirs. The rate on the espelirs are like 2.8 rear and 3.0 front. One coil cut i believe reduces the rate a bit lower. It wouldnt be possible to buy those ebay sleeves and maybe use a better spring?
So the top hats would probably need to be modded? Thats what i was thinking considering it was ebay...

I hear something about homemade coils...what are those and are they recommended? I dont mind a rough ride, im just trying to avoid the bounciness. Are the megan springs good?

I've seen online vids of homemade setups made, they looked solid. Depends on the fabricator imo. Garage magazine has a write up on it too and I think all issues are online now, around issue #17. Basicaly chop down the neck, insert a spacer(t3 makes) add sleeves.
Cut springs I think is ruff way to go, heating with a torch method retains the base and more of the rating imo.
Camaro rear springs have worked. Throw in a spring compressor and guide heat over 1-2 coils. If not familiar the ratio of ride height to spring shortening depending on spring, -1 coil could be 2-3 inches of ride height.
A budget improvise is getting some spring compress kits from most auto stores. You can put them at either end of the springs, top to raise bottom to lower. I forget what there called but its a thick rubber spring mount with latches to grab over a spring coil and tighten down, flipped can raise

Was a cheap way to fit larger rims/tires. About $3 a piece.

I'm on some random Accord ebay coilover sleeves on the front as well. lol. I also bought the T3 top hats with the needle bearings. Pretty good set up considering how cheap it all is.

Thanks for the info, Latino, How long have you been running those? Is it bouncy?

it is actually the opposite cutting a spring raises the rates

Not bouncy at all. In fact, I have the cheapest possible suspension set up I could come up with, and it's awesome!!!! Here are the specs...
Front
Ebay 8 kg/mm adjustable coilovers
Rear SW20 MR2 KYB GR2 struts
Cut strut housings
T3 RCA
Ebay camber plates
Rear
SN95 Mustang GT convertible springs with 2 coils cut (around 4 kg/mm linear rates)
4th Gen Camaro rear struts from Autozone (LMAO! I wanted to use the stock ones since they don't have a lot of compression, but plenty of rebound stiffness to keep the rear of the car planted to the ground while drifting, but we accidentally cut through one of them, so I bought these. lol)
DIY panhard bar with heim joints
It sits like this...
