Weir Performance Zenki Spool* Help

Postby charles1503 » Thu Feb 28, 2013 10:26 pm

Hey everyone need help with another 86 problem haha.

Been waiting for a long time to get a Weir Performance spool for just the regular zenki axles and now I'm having a huge issue. The diff has been rebuilt with the spool, and installed by a good friend that works at Toyota so its dialed in right. Today I got the chance to mount up everything with hopes of finally driving on a refreshed diff, but when I tried installing the axles they wouldn't fit the spool at all. I don't know if new differentials need some hammering to help break it in, but to be honest its looking like a manufacture defect. I mean the diameter of the spool opening looks a bit smaller compared to my oem lsd. (which fits over the axles like butter)

If anyone actually has one or ever installed it please give me some insight on this issue as I've been without a daily driver for a week and it can't go on much longer. I truly believe it is a manufacture defect, even though the company assured me that has never happened... :?
