Just wanted some advice that has bothered me for a long time on my TE72 with a GTS rear end. Ive noticed that the passenger side is a little higher than the driver side. I have done/ installed everything myself and it has T3 lateral bar, Swift 7kg spring, HTS shocks, and stock 4 links. Ive gotten alignment and they told me I set the panhard pretty even that they didnt have to touch it. I have both rubbers on the top and bottom of the springs also if that even matters. From looking under the car while on the ground it looks that nothing is binding either. Am I totally brain farting on something???

what condition are your shocks? if one is worn more then the other or you have 1 leaking shock it could cause this. it did this to my bmw 328 i replaced my shocks and the ride height looked a lot more even.

The rear of my car sits the same way. The entire suspension/rear end was swapped from my old car and it sat the same. In my case I don't believe it's a blown shock because I haven't experienced any characteristics of a blown shock.

I'm pretty sure it's because the service manual procedure wasn't followed when the 5 links were installed. Before torquing the 5 link bolts to spec the service manual says to hand tighten them, then lower the vehicle to the ground so the full weight of the car is loading the suspension, then 'bounce' the rear suspension to settle everything, then jack the car up by the rear diff (keeping the suspension loaded) and torque the bolts to spec.

I've been meaning to try this but haven't got around to it. I have a hunch the panhard may need to be readjusted for axle alignment after doing this, but I won't know until I try.

^ I was told to do the same thing. When I I y'all my poly bushings ill be doing this. Try it Brice!

You may also want to check the opposite corner/driver front & see if anythings out of place or worn out there.
I'd take Deuce Cams advice on install procedures. It may just fix the problem, you never know

FWIW, every Japanese car that I have ever set up has been like this. I think it's a product of the car being designed as rhd originally. The designers move weight to the left side of the car to balance the weight when an "average" weight driver is in the driver seat. When they make the car lhd, you end up with a heavier left side, since the only things that move from the ride side to the left are the driver related stuff, which adds even more weight to the left side.

That makes perfect sense, for some reason though my driver rear is higher haha

Quite frankly, my right rear is sittin a little higher than the left, I noticed it just now..I'm gonna put my big Hawaiian bro in my passenger seat to level this out

I too have been trying to figure this out. My driver side being maybe 1" higher than my passenger side. Got under the car, measured things, lowered my driver side all the way and it still can't seem to lower it. I have pbm rear coilovers and one so they're a few months old and it can't b that the shocks are bad and when I do practice I tend to go into a left sweeper lost of the time putting the weight into that rear driver side first.

Gonna try the loosening and then tightening part and see if that does anything. Will probably get to that either today or tomorrow so I can achieve maximum coolness and try to take pics as well.
