hey guys im new to the ae86 world. im wanting to do a 4ag-16v swap. i know of the mechanical parts needed to do the swap, but the wiring part is going to be hard in the sense I CANT FIND AND INTERIOR HARNESS TO SAVE MY LIFE! im also on sort of a budget. my question is.. is it possible to re pin/wire a gts engine harness in to an sr5 interior harness? also were i live ive never seen a single ae on the road,nor are they in junkyards here. And the nearest one for parts scavenge is 300 miles away. ive been researching like mad and 90% of my results lead to "swap the entire harness". so if someone knows of one for sale or knows of a write-up on how to do this using sr5 and gts combined harness, id be grateful for a point in the right direction. thanks

Aye bro im doing same thing your doing but I got a 7afe block tryna do the 7age swap but anyways I just purchased I couldnt find the engine wire harness either but after a month I found. It on ebay with ecu and everything for 65 bucks just dont settle and pay a big price keep searching good luck wit build

Ur going to have to do what East said. U have to keep a eye on Ebay, that's ur best bet. Also look at Craiglist for different states, especially FL, CA, NY/NJ, Texas where there my be a lot of 86s posted/parts. Also check on the classified secontion on this forum. I know i alot of information has been lost, but i think the parts for sale has pretty good turn out. Good luck getting ur set up.
