Doesn't really matter where on the trans, you can use one of the rubber mount bolts or the clutch slave bolts.

You should have:
Engine block to driver frame rail
Cylinder head to firewall
Trans to firewall or bottom chassis
SwangBiz Corolla Chassis Parts and F20/F22C/4AGE Wiring Services
(we build stuff, I solder wires, we race corollas, then we get drunk)

"you can use one of the rubber mount bolts "
Ah, yes, as long as you don't try to connect the ground strap to the isolated "same" side of a mount.<G> You really could just wind up grounding the block to itself, instead of the tranny or body, if you didn't know the bolts don't go straight through, no?

Question: I'm trying to from reading the above I believe this ground should attach to the tranny. The wire was 'free' when I purchased the car and would ideally like to place it where it originally belonged. Can anyone assist? Thanks -Aaron
