whats going on Club4ag, like the title states my passenger seat belt just stopped retracting. the seat belt extends when putting it on but does not tighten back up securely. does anyone know to fix this problem since i always have passengers i want to keep them safe and keep their minds at ease.

Sounds like the return mechanism is no bueno. It might just be dicky/acting up and need a quick inspection if youre lucky, but more than likely the return spring is on its last leg. If this is the case id suggest replacement surgery. You patient can undergo the operation and be out of the operating room in less than an hour- Wont even need any pain meds.

Sorry to bring up an old post, but did your seatbelt lock when you pulled on it?
My belt isn't locking when I pull on it hard, so I'm afraid the seat belt won't help me in case of an accident.
I'm hoping that winding the spring back (like in the link) will help, but I was wondering if you had any improvements.
