I want to set the timing on my car but the service port where you jump the two wires is missing, gone and taped up where it used to be. I'm not happy about this but either way I need to set the timing on the car. What should I set the timing at without jumping the two wires?

What do you mean it's missing? Wires cut?

Set it to 16* BTDC without the service port jumped.

It is gone, not where its supposed to be. I looked for it on the firewall and the strut tower and it was not there. The harness around there is taped up too so I am pretty sure it was cut off and taped up.

so jump the terminals right at the ecu. use a paper clip and stick it in where the wire goes into the harness plug. just dont choose the wrong terminals. TE1 & E1
