Enkei Compe 15" x 8", 205 - Help with offset

So I'm pretty set on getting the Enkei Compe's with a 15" rim and an 8" width, but I have a choice between 0 and =25 offset. Has anyone ran this size, and if so what offset works? Did you have to roll the fender or do any other mods? Is there anything I need to know before I buy?
And just so we're clear I am not changing the rim diameter, I want the 15" for when I do an FC/Wilwood upgrade in the future. I am willing to discuss changing the rim width, although from what I understand a 205 will fit fairly well on an 8" with only a small stretch.
Any thoughts guys?

bump for thisss
i was looking into the 15X8 +25 offset for track rims so i can run some nice, meaty tires on them (this is going on stock fenders)
im hoping someone has some imput on this, more concerning any rubbing/clearance issues

From what I know an 8" x 205 works pretty well, and apparently the earlier (Zenki) models have a slightly different internal mould which makes it easier to fit wheels

I am running 0 offset and rolled the fenders in the rear with an eastwood. My car is also VERY low. I'll try and post pics when I get to a PC.

If you can that would be awesome, I want these wheels but living where I do I can't do a test fit, I have to order them and hope they bolt up

I dont think the 15x8 +25 will clear the front strut casings. i could be wrong but that is a whole inch closer then the 0 offset and the 15x8 0 offset is pretty close to the strut casing as it is. -25 offset and you will be closer to the fender but i dont think you will get 205's on the -25 offset under any fender with out at least a roll and possibly a pull. i am running 14x8 -14 with undersized tires 185/55-14 and if i had the regular 185/60-14 or 195/60-14 i dont thing either would clear my fenders. if you want 205 i would go with the 0 offset and you might get away with out a roll but you also may have to give it a small amount of roll i ran 195 when i had my 15x8 so i cant say for sure but it will be close. you will have better luck with the 205 in the rear since the rear has more room then the front

I"m going with an Origin 25mm (20mm?) fender so the front shouldn't be an issue. I'm also running Stance coils so the strut case in the front will be less of a problem.
Definitely not using a positive offset, the stock wheels almost hit the coils as it is. I think you've got it right on the 0 offset. The nice thing with a 0 offset is that if you're too close you could probably a fairly small spacer to make it fit if you need too

To get a ballpark idea, this was taken from the old forums wheel guide thread:
SSR Formula Mesh (15x8 -2 offset)
Watanabe Type F8 15x8 +3
Tire sizes were not posted, but it sounds like you have a good idea on how 205s will sit on an 8 inch wheel.

Fairly good, if I'm honest it looks like the Watanabe's are on 205's. Guess we'll see, worst case I am "Forced" to install some fat rear overfenders

I dont think you will be forced to use really wide fenders for an 8in wheel with 205s unless you are getting into crazy negative offsets. I have a 10 inch rear wheel (0 offset with a moderate 1 inch spacer) with 225's and there is still some room left inside the fender.

I'd love to go that wide, but with only the silvertop I don't feel the need for such wide tires. Eventually I plan to have an F20C slotted in but that's a few years out, for now I think 205's will be more than enough to tame unwanted oversteer.
Great fitment by the way, love the CFRP hatch

I just posted that picture for reference to the sizes you are thinking of. Mainly, to show that you would still have plenty of room with your wheels and tires with a smaller flare if desired.

Im not sure if your post was a statement or a question... "?"
And no its not the same as a 15x8 -25.
With the spacer on the rears, its effective offset is -25 making a difference between it and a 8 inch wheel with -25mm offset, around 25mm more on the outer portion, and around 27mm on the inset.

I totally understand, thanks for the information and again, fitment looks quite good. I'm fairly confident now a 8j 15" with 205's will fit fine, and if I need to I do have access to a fender roller and an autobody tech.
