Hey guys, it's to my understand that the first gen Mazda RX7 had a watts linkage installed from factory, can anyone confirm this?

If so, if the linkage was ripped off an RX7, would it be possible to fabricate a way of installing it onto the rear of an 86?

It can be done and has been. Search on the forum archives for info and even a cool gif amimation of how it works. I think Tec-Art's fabulous racecer had this set up, or maybe someone else...

There are lots of race fabrication workshops that make these, if you were going to go to the effort of going to a watts link I would suggest going with something specifically designed for your car rather than adapting something else and avoiding all the potential poor geometry issues.
