50 is listed for manual trans only, 51 is listed for both manual and automatic trans
I didn't look into the differences regarding pin-out or anything, just what cars the p/n's were associated with

Thanks for your reply my 86 is currently using 51, was just searching around for a spare ECU to have just incase and saw there was 50 and 51. Order one of each anyways just to be safe.
