What seats...

Postby ol86 » Mon Feb 03, 2014 4:25 pm

Requirements to get into the back seat still so must be adjustable. Must driver and pass match (or close to match)

I need suggestions for seats.

I have heard
-ebay knockoff bottom mounts sit to high
-what about other adjustable?

I was looking at Gias, what bracket would it use the sparco one?
What about knockoff Gias side mount seats?

Any help appreciated.

I wouldn't buy no name or knockoff seats.
I sell NRG seats. They are more on the affordable side but at least they take enough pride in their products to put their name on it and stand behind it.

You should take a look through their product line and see if you like anything. I can also get brackets and sliders for most vehicles including AE86 and AW11 for sure.

Sparco also has one seat that is pretty competitive.

Even some of their other reclining seats aren't too expensive.

I can get a lot of other name brand seats but the above options are the more affordable ones I have found.

what about the height of the RSC-400BK? With brackets on the 86, it it gonna sit way higher then stock?

Also I couldn't get any of your pics on those seats to come up.

I just moved my website and they messed up those images. Working on getting it back up but I got all my pics off the NRG site.
They do have dimensions on their seats https://getnrg.com/files/node_images/se ... ster_0.jpg

Unfortnately they don't give cushion thickness but you should be able to get a good idea from the pics.
Then it just comes down to your mounting solution. If you want I can inquire about the height of the mounting brackets I can get.
