Dash light door open indicator HELP

After swapping out my dash for a fresh uncracked replacement I put everything back together but noticed now my door open indicator stays on on my cluster mind u my doors and hatch are closed properly what can it be? this is causing a parasitic drain on My battery has anyone ever encountered this problem on there ae86?

The Door Open Indicator light should only be on when either the interior
light is on or a door switch is closed (making circuit to ground). Not sure
why the interior light would show as a door open, but the wiring diagram
puts it on the same circuit. So either you have a door switch that does
not go open circuit when the door is closed, the interior light is ON, or
you have a short to ground somewhere in the wiring downstream of the
dash indicator panel.

EDIT: Thinking about it for a moment, the door switches pull the interior
light to ground, so they have to be on the same circuit. And as I believe the
interior light can be switched on without opening the door, if your dome light
has a blown bulb, make sure the switch in not in the manual ON position.

Thanx for the advice ima look into it and see my dome light is blown so it's probably is on which could explain the draw!
