Getting ready to sell my Prizm, but could use some help pricing it. Here is my not posted as of yet add: 1991 GEO Prizm GSI
The car needs absolutely nothing. Has 115000 original miles. Never been wrecked all Toyota body panel stickers are present. All options that were available are on this example. Sunroof, cruise, AC, power windows and locks. Everything works including the AC. 5 spd with the famous Toyota - Yamaha head factory 4AGE smallport motor. I bought the car almost 5 years ago and replaced many parts so the car could be a daily driver if needed. ( es Toyota master tech I know did most of the work ) Timing belt was replaced @ 60,000 with a gates 90000 mile belt before I bought it. ( belt sticker in place in engine compartment ) paint is original and shows typical door dings and tiny bumps here and there for its age. Rust is almost non existent. Have all the receipts of parts that I replaced. New battery last week. Both CV joints last spring ( new not rebuilt ) in the last 15,000 miles ( new calipers, pads, and flexible brake lines on all 4 wheels ) the car has factory 4 wheel disc brakes. All of the coolant hoses. ( coolant 2 months ago ) plugs, wires, distributor ( bad o ring ), also installed aluminum radiator last fall. Still have the old one if you want it. It was original, and still good. Redline 90 gear oil is pretty fresh. Tires are probably 1/2 tread. Sure there is more. It is with deep regret I am selling this car because she has been my baby but it is time to let go I have too many cars. Test drives are fine and where ever you want, but not without me in the car. ( I will try and get a pic of the car up here - it looks really good, and red.) other than the radiator the car has been kept stock except rims were painted black years ago with no center caps and chrome lugs.

The car still looks just like this. Always garaged since I've owned it, and no rain.

Too much????
Re: Need some help pricing 1991 Prizm GSI
put it on craigslist for 3k, expect 2500. chances are the person buying this car wont be a car enthusiast just someone looking for a cheap daily.

I know, and thats what makes it so hard to sell. More or less condemning it to the boneyard after a few years in the elements

Where in Kansas are you located? I'm located in Denver, Colorado. Relatively speaking, it might not be a far drive for me.

That does seem far to me...Would you be up for meeting me in Hays, KS on I-70, since I have to rent a car and return it there.

That is a ways to drive for me as well. I think I will try to sell the car locally. Would you still be interested if It does not sell? I sure would like to sell it to an enthusiast than someone who does not care.

Rest assured, I will give it a good home. I collect rare and awkward cars. I still would be interested and would drive all the way to Topeka, but can the price be negotiable from $2500? I need a little incentive to drive 8 hours on roads with potential snow.
Re: Need some help pricing 1991 Prizm GSI
I will take some better pics of it this weekend and send them to you. If you are still interested I would be willing to consider adjusting the price just so it would be cared for. The car is safe in the garage until it sells. Title in my hand and free of lien. I have a 3 car garage if it was a 4 car I would be keeping it. As of now my Honda Element is in the elements because I purchased a is300 sportcross for a new project. If you want to have me send you the pics this weekend give me your email.
