Picked up this cool triangle teq style oil cap, and an interesting shift knob. Anyone know what these originally came off of?

My buddy has that cap on his 1967 Corona with a 3rc engine. I'm not 100% positive but I believe they were nicknamed "onigiri "oil caps because they resemble rice balls
