Suitable throttle cables for 4AGE 20V BT conversion

Postby onnaj » Wed Apr 10, 2013 4:53 am

Hello,

I'm looking for suitable throttle cables that'll work to convert my Celica 7AFE (non cruise) to the 4AGE Blacktop.

I've been told a Celica 5SFE throttle cable will work, but all the throttle cables are very difficult to get here in holland.
I heard rumours about a Tercel or a Paseo throttle cable will also do the job? But what year of those models do i need?

Does anybody happens to know the stock lenght of the 7AFE throttle cable and what the minimum lenght would be to use it for my conversion. I don't like ending up having a enormous long cable that goes around the block ;)

Thanks!

Doh, forgot about your platform. Not sure now but according to parts references, it isn't too dissimilar. It will require some slight modification. I'm using one on a Levin coupe with a rotary motor. I had modify it slightly.
