*RARE* AE86 K-Power Coilovers with Swift springs

Postby xGUNKx » Mon Apr 28, 2014 5:26 pm

Looking to sell only, have build going on and may end up trying some prototype coils
These came from K-Powers of Japan, they are a Hill Climb Specialty shop. Extremely high quality, possibly the best out there.

Not dealing with any lowballers, these are rare. PM me

Only about 10k which includes some Hill climb and 1 Illinois winter.

Idk the spring rates for sure, ill try to check

Edit: Fronts are 080 so that means they're 14.3k
Idk rears, but id assume 10k or 8k

They might be made by the same manufacturers that make AGX's and rebrand, you never know. Happens all the time.

KYB makes shocks for all the big tuners in Japan, just because they use the same outer shell doesn't mean the interior components are the same.

OP- might help to post a link to the manufactures site.

If they were readily available they wouldnt be posted as rare.
They dont have a site and they are one-off set.

Wouldnt take them off unless asking price is met.

Being rare doesn't demand high price ticket. Being rare doesn't mean it's "sugoi." Being rare doesn't mean it's good quality stuff.

There are rare parts and there are rare parts that people want, and this isn't one of those rare parts people want.

Hate to brake it to you but for your "rare" coilovers that would deo the same thing as a Stance or BC for fraction of the cost, new, what makes your rare part so special that would demand the rare price?

To me, this thread just seems like, you got coilovers and just because you think or claim they're rare you are entitled to wanting $2500 but now you're using them and only way you will sell them is if you get asking price. That too me screams GREEEEEEDDDD...LOL

If you're looking to sell due to wanting money, getting rid of them, or whatever it maybe that's fine but with your comment "Wouldnt take them off unless asking price is met." just shows greed.

This is unbelievable, let's do a recap;

xGUNKx wrote:These came from K-Powers of Japan, they are a Hill Climb Specialty shop. Extremely high quality, possibly the best out there.

K-Powers of Japan? Who are they? Where can you base your price on?

xGUNKx wrote:Not dealing with any lowballers, these are rare. PM me

Again, where are you basing your statements on? Besides your obviously vivid, albeit lsd inspired imaginings.

lucky13evo wrote:Whats so special about these? Not knocking just curious and never heard of them.

you replied;

xGUNKx wrote:High end and rare. Track proven coilovers by shop in Japan

while providing no base for your statements AGAIN.

jrarinas wrote:How many miles on them Bro? Spring rates?

Again, no basis, just more assumptions....oh and how the hell did you get 14.k from 080, please enlighten us with your math skills....

Lapdance wrote:Rears look like AGX's painted purple. Wouldnt pay that much for old used stuff unless n2 ohlins or argosta...

Your award winning rehtoric;

xGUNKx wrote:They arent junk AGXs.

Congratulations OP, you just INSULTED a vast majority of the AE86 community with that statement.

chi-town wrote:KYB makes shocks for all the big tuners in Japan, just because they use the same outer shell doesn't mean the interior components are the same.

OP- might help to post a link to the manufactures site.

And you replied again providing no basis......believe me, I too was shocked!

xGUNKx wrote:If they were readily available they wouldnt be posted as rare.

You stated that they (K-Powers of Japan) does not have a site, and that the Coilovers in question are a ONE-OFF set.
Still doesn't justify your price.

Finally, your reply to kitsune;

xGUNKx wrote:Sounds like you're just upset cause i dont have to price match something of lesser quality and readily available.

Again, the fact that you have absolutely nothing to back up your statements to justify your outrageous asking price is truly grotesque. Clearly shows you have absolutely no effin' clue of what you're selling, other than the fact they came off a JDM AE86.

Having said that, glws op.

He bought this his jdm rhd ae86 for $15k here:

http://www.japaneseclassicsllc.com/1987 ... -apex.html

So then, by the same logic all I have to do to sell something for a high dollar amount is to put what sounds like a race shop name in front of it.
I quite like the sound of B-Power.

That's it, my car's for sale.

B-Power Levin. Speciallist tuned vehicle. $100,000.00.

Sorry OP, I usually don't post like this on other peoples posts but I just couldn't resist !
That's it for me folks, thank you & good night.

Hmm.. never heard of these. :geek:
Can you briefly explain why these are the best coilovers out there? Possible to see what shock absorber they used to make this assessment? Thanks.

The rest aside, I couldn't help but noticed the spindle looks to have cracks or gouges in pic below, but it might just be the lighting or grime, etc...
