Headlight Problem

Postby urzu725 » Fri Aug 08, 2014 10:51 pm

Hey everyone,
I have a Trueno and the headlights will turn on and flip up when I turned the headlight switch two times to the right, but will turn off and close when I turn the switch once to the right, even though all of the parking lights come on. For some reason, the headlights cannot be off but flipped up at the same time. Any thoughts? Headlight switch problem, electrical problem?

Keeping the headlights on and popped up requires you to turn the switch two clicks clockwise, push it in, and turn it one more click clockwise.

My problem is that the lights can't be off while the headlights are flipped up.

1st click to right, parking lights, head lights down.
2 clicks from off, headlights on, parking lights on, head lights up.
3 clicks from off(push switch in to 3 rd click), no lights on, head lights up.

If your switch does not operate this way, its broken or wrong switch.

Maybe yours has the markings worn off. here's a pic. It's jdm, but w/e works the same.

Oh okay, thanks a lot for your help. My switch must be broken.
