Full set of rods. Haven't been used since ARP hardware was installed and rods were honed. Parting out shop, so these need to move.

Honing is a process which corrects any out of round in the holes in the rod. This ensures they will perform as expected.

Ok, I know of cylinder honing, but rod honing was something new for me.
What does the honing mean for the bearings? Do I still buy STD bearing or do I need to buy something else?
Are the blacktop rods lighter than the bigport 42/20mm bigport rods?

Blacktop rods are the lightest OEM 42/20 rods.
The rod bores are sized to OEM spec. You can follow the bearing sizing method from the factory service manual.
