Engine Oil viscosity for California weather?

I always used 5w30 when I was living in Washington State, but now live in California. I just want to see what oil viscosity you guys use here in Cali.

10w30 is pretty legit for a 16v i run valvoline semisynthetic. and i got 297K out of my motor.
