My 16V in my GT-Apex decided it was time to to lose one or more rings and start puking oil into the combustion chamber. The car is an import and I'm not very certain about the internals of the engine. Aside from that it has a slightly hotter cam paired with a KMS header and an auto area fuji ECU.
I'd prefer to have a reputable builder tear it down and really figure out the specifics before re-building it. I'm not looking to build some 160hp+ 16v, just a solid refresh of the current engine replacing anything worn.
I live in Louisiana, so options are limited. Texas isn't out of the question, so can anyone recommend some builders?
