Good afternoon experts,
this will probable be stupid question, but I need to ask anyways.
I noticed in every oil change the dealer perform in my Silvetop, they use a filter the fit the description of the vehicle (1987 Corolla FX) instead of the engine it self.
I would like to use the filter recommended by the Manufacture for the AE101 4AGE Silvertop 20v Engine.
do you guys know what is the correct filter?
I keep searching and I keep finding different opinions and different filters sizes, such as:
90915-YZZF1
90915-YZZN1 (Currently Installed)
90915-YZZJ2
90915-YZZE2
90915-10001/3
please advise which is is the correct one, as I am not sure if the dealership had been using the right one either.
Thank you all for the support.
Have a great day!

Re: 4AGE Silvertop 20V Oil Filter
One more opinion for you. I was told years ago that the OEM filter is 90915-YZZB6 but I doubt you can find one in the US. Amazon comes up with the one you currently have installed when I search for this old OEM number. Or get one here that you know will work. https://shop.battlegarage-rs.com/produc ... s=e&_v=1.0

Re: 4AGE Silvertop 20V Oil Filter
In Ireland the 2 common petrol oil filters are the 90915-YZZJ1 and the longer 90915-YZZJ2, the J1 filter says excluding 4AG engines and the J2 says use for 4AG, 2ZZ and 3SG.
So use the longer type filter, the original oil filter listed in 1991 has probably been superceded 10 times since 1991.
