OST-114: Race prepped Smallport

OST-114 is a race prepared smallport head. It has had extra clearance (end mill) added to the follower(bucket) bores, and it has been fitted with Supertech valve guides.

It original was a Loynings core that I finished. (Note the cut down cam cap bolts - not used in F/A heads, so they are cutdown for use as regular cam cap bolts :o ) This view prior to deburring

One down, you can see the Supertech valve guides neatly nestled to limit the guides influence on the air flow.

Having it's 3 angle, and resurfaced - Just prior to reassembly

Assembled using B.C. valve springs... and Supertech viton rubber valve seals - specific to their guides

with a seat pressure of 75#s, and lift capability of over 11mm :o
