the only thing i can think of is this:

you can get this back issue. One of the best DIY/how to's i have seen yet. covers everything including setting up a diff.

Re: SR5 swap help me!
You also want the next issue of the magazine. It has the rest of the swap procedure.

Issues #15 and 16 are the ones.
you can try emailing them at their website
http://www.projectcarmag.com/
or WTB ad in the classifieds.
its not recommended by the state of California and may be known to cause cancer, but if you are internet savvy you might be able to find it in .pdf format.(if you dont know what that is, you are NOT internet savvy)

Re: SR5 swap help me!
Kindof a rough project for a first-timer... I'd rebuild that 4AC and upgrade the carbs / motor mounts / power steering to manual steering swap and hook up an electric fan. I just did a 4AGE rebuild as my first major project, and the idea of a swap is still a bit daunting.
Re: SR5 swap help me!
you also need the front half of the GTS transmission, air flow meter, air hose, GTS fuel lines, fuel rail, TVIS butterfly plate, fuel injectors, baffled GTS gas tank, GTS fly wheel, flex plate..... list goes on.
edit: distributor, cap/ rotor / wires/ ignitor

Re: SR5 swap help me!
physical copies have been sold out of the proj mag sr5-gts swap.
you can find scans here: http://www.ae86drivingclub.com.au/forum ... -Taka-Aono
but the diy swaps that andrew assassin100000000 wrote are also just as good (if not better)

Re: SR5 swap help me!
You will save a lot of time / money and headache (shop hours too) if you can find a donor gts that you can just give them to swap the stuff over. At the very least most of the stuff up to and including whats mounted on the firewall (pedals, dash harness etc etc). Rear axle and prop shaft will depend on what you want and have on your current SR5.
Re: SR5 swap help me!
Here is a "bare minimum" list of everything "necessary" to get an SR5 running with a GTS swap:
Longblock
Wiring Harness (underdash and engine harness, including fuse boxes)
All accessories for the engine (fuel rail, injectors, oxygen sensor, AFM, etc)
ECU
GTS transmission bellhousing
GTS clutch line (I used a long stainless steel braided line and ran it from the clutch master cylinder to the slave cylinder)
GTS clutch slave cylinder
in line fuel pump and fuel filter
that's it as far as I can remember.
I got rid of the charcoal canister and all emissions systems, used an in line fuel filter and an in line fuel pump (walbro 190lph will do more than enough),wired the fuel pump to a switch with an inline fuse, and swapped the fuel vapor line (for the charcoal canister) and the fuel return line, and kept teh SR5 gas tank. Works like a charm. No problems yet, granted I've only been able to put a little over 100 miles on the car since the swap, but I'm confident in my work.

Re: SR5 swap help me!
i just finished my swap like 3 weeks ago.
wiring harness, all of it. +ecu to match(i know you can modify sr5 but this is just easier)
when i swapped my 92 motor i had to use the injectors and rail off of a 85 mr2 to match the harness clips.
had to re route the water lines
need older water temp sensor clips to match harness plugs.
used the maf from the 92
used the dizzy from the 85 mr2 to match plugs.
coil/igniter from 85 mr2
pilot bearing for tranny shaft
dont need a gts bell, slave or line. Just need a steel braided and route to away from the exhaust.
i used my stock fuel lines. no issues just need a inline pump
dont need gas tank
if you switch to gts rear end and use sr5 bellhousing you can still use the same drive shaft
if you use gts rear and gts bellhousing you will need a gts driveshaft.
