So my high beams randomly stopped working the other day.
don't know why.
all the other lights work even the high beam indicator on my dash but no high beams.
anyone else have this problem before?
what would cause it? I check fuses they all were good....I could check them again tho I guess.
any solutions?

Try jiggling the turn signal stalk.
Mine intermittently does something similar. Turn on head lights and the high beam indicator is on , but i get no lights until i jiggle the stalk. If the high beams come on, its something in the stalk.
if not try the same on the head light switch.
pretty much you will go down the line starting at the stalk, check wiring, check switch, check wiring, check fuses, under dash and under hood, check relay, all the way to the head light itself.

So are your low beams functioning still?
Might sound nuts, but I have actually had it where my low beams only worked, but not my high beams and turned out that just the high beam had burned out. Although, at the same time I was having the notorious weak solder joint on the light switch issue.

yeah low beams still work fine.
it'd be odd for both the high beams to go out at the same time tho....
Its not the switch because I swapped it with one I knew worked and problem still persisted.
I need to check the relay still.
but if thats not it then idk whats wrong.

this just happened to me did you find the problem???
i have 12v at both headlights Low beams work fine, just not Highbeams
