Interior is really clean and mostly original minus the rear seats which got re-done to factory style so it all matches. No rips or tears on front original seats. Factory style radio but not connected. Instead there is a radio mount setup in the glove box that you could use to mount your single DIN to front infinity 6.5 in speakers with and Aux cable so you could play Pandora from your own phone! Wink mirror. Sadly I will have to re-install the factory knob and steering wheel since the TOMS wheel and Mooneyes knob are dear to me. Vents still connected so good air flow but just no A/C or heat. I live in Oceanside, CA so no real need for this weekend cruiser that I used to use daily to even drive up to Rancho Cucamonga with no problem!
Suspension is a full AE86 front struts with calipers, rotors and SS brake lines with T3 camber adj. bought new and RCA. Prothane bushings done in front T3 new lat bar in the rear with new DSPEC fox body stang shocks and Eibach cut springs in the back. Rollers Hoshino impul 14x7.5 and 14x8 rear with 90% thread on yokahama tires bought new also. Rolled and trimmed fenders so no rubbing! Exhaust is custom 2.5" with super trapp rear and resonator to keep things a tad quiet.
Exterior comprises of all lights in good working order. H4 conversion with PIAA lights for low beam and Rabrig yellow H4 for highs. Mooneyes mirrors installed on the front fenders and new chrome for both front and back bumpers.
CONS:
1) Salvaged title from previous owner from a driver side door and fender damage and no parts were available in the 90's so insurance totalled the ride.
2) An Eh-hole backed up into my ride while in a parking lot and ran. Driverside rear quearter has a small dent. Paint around rear window also not painted. Not sure why the previous owner didn't get it done to this day.
3) Could use a tuneup with the weber. Been trying to read up on it and still trying but if you've ever delt with them and know how to mess with the jets then you should be ok.
PROS:
1) RARE! No one around here even know what it is!
2) Nixon was in office when they were sold in the U.S. and added 10% tax so Toyota only sold for two years! 72-73.
3) Well kept (garage) and insured for 20G's from Hagerty and no questions about the coverage!
4) All parts installed were done with time, patience, and done right. I believe some of the members here could attest to the care I give my rides.
5) The smell of carbed and smogless rides!
6) I have all the parts to convert back to original including the wheels with hub caps!
7) The TA12 has been to three TORC and JCCS shows!
Car is located in Oceanside, CA and you could reach me at (626)536-7002 text only unless you're dying. Asking $8,000 OBO. Thanks in advance and please keep your negative comments to yourself.
