Postby pault2089 » Thu May 08, 2014 1:23 pm

Is it possible to convert a Zenki AE86 Levin to Kouki Trueno front? What is needed if it is possible ? Any links would be appreciated. Thank you

hood, fenders, bumper, and lights (buckets and motors, not sure if switch is different). all the body stuff should be bolt right in.

Bought late spec Trueno bonnet, wings, lamps. Do I need to change the front panel on the car or are they the same?

There are 2 brackets for the Levin headlights to bolt onto that need to be removed to fit the Trueno lamp brackets.
I think they have 3 spot welds holding them on so drill out the spot welds.
For them to work right you will need the extra wiring that the Trueno body loom contains and the light switch in the dash.

Thats the finest. Have all the wiring from the switch to the lamps but not the switch itself. Gonna try get a switch for it, more than likely from Ebay. Anyone have a part number for the light switch? Front was on a 1986 car.
