86 GTS HARNESS question HELP

whats up guys, i recently got another 86 gts rwd engine harness for my car because the previous one was all spliced up but one of the 3 plugs on the new harness is not plugging in/lining up with the ecu. The car was in a 'project' state when i bought it so the swap was already done (86' 4age 16v). anyone have any knowledge on why the plug doesnt match? or any modifications have to be done ?
