I am the 2nd owner of this fine antique. The original owner had her up until late 2013. The owner worked for a body shop and his care for this MR2 is evident. The engine (a magnificent high revving 4AGE) was replaced in 2013 with a 90k mile one, new clutch, flywheel, timing belt and all other maintenance was performed at the same time. Receipts available.

When the owner sold it in 2013 it has gone from living in his garage to mine and I have been caring for it since.

Interior is a 10/10 100% original (save the Polk audio speakers and head unit). Mint seats, doors, dash, not a scratch on anything.
Drivetrain is 10/10 Perfect, notchy transmission, harmonic high revving 16 valve
Exterior 9/10 Couple paint chips from rocks on the highway

T tops do not leak. Brand new tires. Original factory option wheels in mint shape with new tires. Working AC. You couldnt find a better MR2 if you went to the dealership and asked them to make you one hahah.

There are other question marks. I deduce the year is 87-88 because T-top, interior, tail lights, and non-LED spoiler brake light. The fact that it needed an engine replaced does not bode well. That fact that the bumpers lack original stripes indicates not original paint, indicates possible damage repair. This car would need to be inspected carefully. Also for $5500, history report. All original, garaged, rust/damage free is worth something. If the mileage were below 70000 I'd say the price is fair, but it's not.

Hey, man. There is no need to lecture the guy about his own car. If he can sell it for that price, it sells for that price. If it doesn't, he will probably go down on it.

No, i appreciate the input. Honestly, I have never seen one of these in this sort of shape so the number is rather off-the-cuff.
Realistically I am selling this for an AE86 or 300zx.
If I can find a fair trade, I will do that as well.
Personally, I think the bumper stripes look hideous
It is an 87. Chassis odo is 220xxx
Drivetrain odo is 95xxx
All the suspension is new and there is zero rust.

We have been getting hammered with snow so better pictures unfortunately will have to wait as this does not leave the garage if there is snow in my driveway.
