Postby trueno13 » Tue May 07, 2013 4:17 pm

I have a 4agze in my ae86 that I've converted in turbo - anyways I bought spark plug wires and they barley fit to my distributor-( not long enough ) does anyone know where I can get a good set ?

The GZE distributor cap ends point up, right? The ae86 4age distributor cap ends point out, and therefore longer.
haha cali...i got one of your 86's and you're not getting it back.

That's odd, wires should be long enough. Yes, the dist can be swapped out. So your cap looks like this?

Yours is fwd, go buy wires for a 1985-87 Toyota corolla GTS. They are about 2-3" longer as you can see in pic.

The only issue with that is the actual plugs are taller than the GZE ones . The GZE plugs are short and stubby

I have an MR2 distributor with TRD AE86 GTS plug wires. They are a mile long. Does your distributor look like this? You can use the stubby plug wires with it.

Yes I does look like that - I wonder what's the diffrence between the two ? The cap looks the same but point forward for my timing .
